New printers don't cost enough to make it worthwhile to mail the old one somewhere for service. The new one works fine, perhaps a little slow, but good pictures. The unit is nice and self-contained, with doors that close up and prevent dust. Be aware that you can't scan wirelessly using an Airport Express -- you need an Airport Extreme, apparently. But you can print wirelessly with an Airport Express. One other thing to be careful about -- Amazon sells ink cartridges that it says will work on this model, but they won't. The CLI-8's work on the 600, but for the 620 you need CLI-221, which are smaller. And order some extra, because these small cartridges don't last very long.
