Users of Apple’s Snow Leopard should check this list if they’ve been having trouble getting an old printer to work properly on the new OS.
Apple has just released new drivers for some printer models. The drivers contain the latest software for Canon, Brother, HP and Lexmark machines.
You can access the downloads here.
More detailed information about supported printer models is available on Apple’s Web site. If your printer isn’t listed there, Apple recommends contacting the device’s manufacturer. If software isn’t yet available, printers that support a common language such as PCL or PostScript may still function using generic drivers included in Snow Leopard.
