Hewlett-Packard recently announced a new method for printing from mobile devices: sending print jobs via e-mail.
HP will release a new line of printers, starting with the $99 Photosmart e-All-in-One this month, that will each have a dedicated e-mail address.
To print a job, users will simply have to e-mail a document to the printer using any Web-enabled device, including smartphones and tablet computers, InformationWeek reports.
The printers also use last year’s TouchSmart Web features, which allows to printers to connect to a WiFi network and print directly from the Internet.
