iPad printing apps have a way to go

We recently reported on the iPad’s lack of printer drivers. While printing from the iPad isn’t exactly easy, there are some applications that can help.
PCMag.com recently reviewed printing apps developed for iPad so far. The conclusion: Some work, but none are perfect.
Here’s what the site has to say about some of the apps out there:
- Canon’s Easy-PhotoPrint for iPhone — An iPhone app re-purposed for the iPad that prints (image files only) to WiFi-enabled printers.
- Air Sharing HD — Searches your WiFi network for Macs with shared printers. It can print multiple file types, though, the reviewer notes, Office docs seem to come out with formatting issues.
- ePrint — Though it looked promising because it connects directly to WiFi printers and can print from the clipboard, the app froze often.
Have you tried printing from the iPad? What apps have worked for you?

You might also look into the app at the link above, particularly if considering iPad’s for corporate use. I assume that because these guys have the app available for iPhone, it will not be a stretch for them to have it for the iPad but nothing listed on their site yet. We currently use their tools for BlackBerry and are avaluating the iPhone app.

I use Print Magic HD for printing e-mail, websites, anything I select using the COPY function.
This program will also print photos just by selecting them from the albums you have. I use a wireless HP printer/ scanner/ copier I bought for $69 at Costco (after $45 instant rebate). It is not super fast but works fine for my needs
