The new Lexmark Prospect Pro all-in-ones are intended for business users and print at up to 33ppm in draft mode in black-and-white, 30ppm in color.
There are four models in this family:
- The Prospect Pro205 ($169) can print, copy, scan and fax, and includes a 2.4″ LCD display.
- The Prevail Pro705 ($199) adds Ethernet readiness.
- The Prestige Pro805 ($299) lacks faxing, but includes a 4.3″ touchscreen display.
- The Platinum Pro905 ($399) does have faxing and adds a second paper tray.
The Pro205 automatic document feeder holds up to 35 sheets, while the other models have a capacity of 50 sheets in the feeder. There is a flatbed as well.
USB and Wi-Fi are included on all models. Standard Ethernet (wired) is available on all but the Pro205. Host-based (GDI) printing is supported. Faxing uses a 33.6kbps modem.
The Pro205 has a single 100 sheet tray of input and a 25-sheet exit tray. The Pro705 and Pro805 come with a 150-page input tray and a 50-page output tray. The Pro905 includes two 150-sheet input trays, along with a 50-sheet exit tray. Automatic duplex output is featured on all of the models.
These models have a 5-year warranty, a unique offer in the market. Lexmark has also paid attention to keeping the noise level down, at 50dB when printing. In addition, EcoMode settings allow you to save energy.

I cannot make up my mind in buying a Lexmark printer. I have only had HP printers and currently have a Hp PSC 1610 which is crashing on me. I am comparing the PRO705, PRO805 and the PRO05. Which one would give me the best results on copy fax and scan overall??
