For companies looking for desktop MFPs suitable for small groups, here are two new options from Xerox.
The new Xerox WorkCentre 3210/N and duplexing-capable 3220/DN are compact desktop black-and-white MFPs that support print, copy, scan, and fax capabilities. The 24ppm WorkCentre 3210/N is priced at $449, while the 30ppm 3220/DN has a price of $549.
Both machines come with standard Ethernet and USB connectivity. Wi-Fi is optional. Both models include PCL printing standard. PostScript is included on the 3220/DN. There are both a 50-sheet automatic document feeder and a flatbed platen.
Color scanning is standard. Scanning to application, to network, and to USB drive is supported on both models. The 3220/DN also features scan-to-email as well.
Traditional faxing, PC fax, network fax, and color fax (send only) are supported.
The standard supply is a single 250-sheet tray and a single-sheet bypass. You can add an optional 250-sheet paper tray. Output capacity is 150 sheets.
Using the large-capacity cartridges (4,100 pages), we calculate cost-per-page to be around 2.3 cents.

I must suggest it to my group since we need similar desktop MFP that won’t require so much space and maintenance. I guess it’s worth considering.
