A new offering from Ricoh makes it easier for companies to manage their printer fleets.
The service, called the @Remote Office Intelligent Remote Management System, allows businesses to remotely collect device data, receive service and low toner alerts and remotely upgrade firmware.
The key purpose of the tool is to maximize the efficiency of a printer fleet, Ricoh said in a press release. Businesses can access online utilization reports from @Remote Office, to identify over- and under-used machines and rearrange resources.
The system can also track energy and paper consumption to help companies with green initiatives.
